Massive Misconceptions #1: The Rule of Law

The rule of law is a hackneyed phrase. It’s one those giant misconceptions usually trotted out by people intent on proving how richer 1st world nations are more better than poorer 2nd and 3rd world nations, or how no one can supposedly get away with crime because we are all equal before the law. Yes, I would prefer to live in a society where disputes can be resolved without resorting to gang-style violence. However, even nations with the purported rule of law still have deal with gang problems – and they do this by centralizing power all under one roof, claiming a monopoly on violence and calling it “Government”. When you replace lots of smaller gangs with one bigger gang, it is doubtful you have increased your safety or freedom at all; in fact, in many ways, you have decreased it, since you have created a organization with the power to enslave you on a far grander scale.

How privilege and power in the economy drive extreme inequality and how this can be stopped

The global inequality crisis is reaching new extremes. The richest 1% now have more wealth than the rest of the world combined. Power and privilege is being used to skew the economic system to increase the gap between the richest and the rest. A global network of tax havens further enables the richest individuals to hide $7.6 trillion. The fight against poverty will not be won until the inequality crisis is tackled.

Nine Ways to Stop the Manipulation

HempDone sneakily, or under the illusion of democracy, in recent times more oppressive laws have been made than ever before. Between us being subjected to more and more ordinances, rules, restrictions and outright laws then demonizing our dissension and opinion should we object… It’s as if we can’t do anything right. How long will it take for the masses to wake up to these grossly restricting laws and realize how un-free they are? The masses’ unchallenging complacency with these laws has been made that much easier through social conditioning engineered over the years by the ruling elite. In this charade, the power-mad egomaniac manipulating controlling parasitical ruling elite impose themselves on almost everything for their ulterior motives: ownership, power, profit and political gain – and that’s it. It’s that straightforward. It’s that pathetic. These forever-increasing control mechanisms: regulations, rules, absurd mandates, threats of fines, intimidation, extreme petty police reprisals and imprisonment … are designed to sap the life-force from us while denying our true self-expression as we’re expected to bow down in acquiescence. It’s all designed to erode humanity into a subservient entity.

How do we break this manipulation?

DeepCapture.com was created to expose the “deep capture” of American institutions by powerful and corrupt financial interests. From day one, we exercised our First Amendment right to speak out against not only the capture of government regulators, but also the capture of other parts of government (elected officials and law enforcement), along with private “watchdogs” such as the news media. As a result, we have, since day one, been the target of various attacks.

In some cases, the attacks on DeepCapture have been perpetrated by gullible or unprincipled American journalists who either knowingly or negligently have allowed themselves to become the voice of criminal or quasi-criminal individuals and organizations who have corrupted the financial industry and enriched themselves through ingenious scams perpetrated on naïve investors. Thanks partly to the efforts of DeepCapture in beating back those attacks, the dangers represented by “lapdog” journalists, the “Media Mob,” and media “hatchet jobs” may now be more widely understood.

Nevertheless, the job of educating the American people about media failings in carrying out its vital “watchdog” role is never done. New threats emerge daily.

Save Gaza — Save the World: A Message to Humanity !

Two days after posting…

After making up my mind to post this on the front page of this site, I did a query in the GeneticMemory search engine (key-word Gaza) and came up with this!

War Crimes: Israeli Planes Spray Crop-killing Chemicals on Gaza Farms

Israeli occupation planes have sprayed crop-killing chemicals on farmlands across besieged Gaza Strip, killing off crops in the coastal enclave.

It is the third time the Israeli occupation planes have targeted Gaza farms, killing massive amounts of crops,

An estimated 371 acres of farming land in central Gaza and 50 acres of land in eastern Khan Younis have been affected.

Farmers in Johr al-Deek, south of Gaza city, Al-Qarara town, north of Khan Yunis, and Wadi Al-Salqa agricultural town, south of Deir al-Balah, complained of the effects of the Israeli unknown chemicals on their crops.

Several farmers informed us that Israeli planes had sprayed their lands with pesticides,” Wael Thabet, head of the plant protection department at Gaza Agriculture Ministry, said.
