Join us as we celebrate the life of renowned author Zora Neale Hurston with a film by Florida filmmaker Kristy Anderson, titled "Jump At The Sun" -The Life Story of Zora Neale Hurston. See this incredible documentary and stay for great discussion with special guest Lois Gaston, the great niece of Hurston.

The event is free and open to the public!

The St. Petersburg Preservation will be showing a film as part of their Midtown edition of "Movies in the Park" in our beautiful Legacy Gardens.

Volunteers are needed as we continue to host great events at the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American History Museum. 
The museum welcomes involvement from residents in both the immediate community and the Tampa Bay area.  Your skills and talents are needed and appreciated.
