Russia has just carried out one of the boldest geopolitical moves in modern history — seizing an entire fleet of US-operated oil tankers across the Black Sea, Baltic, and Arctic waters. Over $3 billion in American energy assets and $800 million worth of crude and LNG cargo have now been taken into Russian custody — with more than 300 crew members detained, including 78 US citizens.
