When­ever one of the pun­dent starts to fil­li­buster you know there is a lie they are attemp­ing to con­ceal. See how Peter Shift-​y reacts when Prof.Wolff con­founts him with the fact that the gov­ern­ment is a group of very rich peo­ple. If you didn’t know that “Peo­ple United” that’s the act that lets cor­per­a­tion donate money as if they were indi­vid­u­als. And other acts made to sound like it was made for the peo­ple (The idea being the peo­ple will hear the name and think that it was made with them in mind) like the “Patri­oot Act” that’s the one that claims they can do any­thing they want to you in a nation emer­gency. That these very rich peo­ple, who the peo­ple think are there to rep­re­sent them, but are in fact the board mem­bers of the cor­per­a­tion. Who are apponted to run in an elec­tions. After their seclec­tion, then and only then are they persented to the peo­ple, to be voted on. But the sweet­est part for them (the very rich) is, no one asked, why these two. These are the ingre­di­ents for an elec­tronic dic­ta­tor­ship, just add one more ingre­di­ent the major media.

There is a very impor­tant mes­sage that Prof. Wolff made, and that is the rela­tion­ship between cap­i­tal­ism and feu­dal­ism. One being a softer ver­sion (for some) than the other. Inter­est­ingly the peo­ple make plays and hol­ly­wod movies about feu­dal­ism, but still can see the con­nec­tion. It’s the cul­ture, that came to this land with the peo­ple try­ing to escap­ing hell, but didn’t know that it was in the boat with them all the time.
